Gilmore Girls will always be one of my (and half of the country’s) most beloved television shows. I don’t know if, like me, the episodes that move you to tears are your favorite, but anything that makes me cry is usually a winner. There is so much symbolism in many of the emotional episodes and often quite a bit of realism. Yes, Rory makes more than enough dumb decisions regarding her love life, but isn’t that how real life really works? All of the instances of grief and self-discovery and the various relationships in the show are relatable. I can’t wait to watch the Netflix special next week… but a little part of me is extremely sad that once I’ve finished “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” I’ll be quite depressed knowing that the show is over for good.

Here are some of my favorite moments from seasons 1-7:

The dance breakup

Luke and Lorelai’s First Kiss

There are too many Kirk moments to choose from… I couldn’t find anything from the episode where he gets a cat and names it Kirk.. but that was awesome.

As far as my favorite Rory boyfriend goes, I can’t decide if I am 100% team Logan or team Jess. I have a feeling she is going to end up with Dean and make a lot of the world mad… OR she won’t end up with any of the three and make the world really mad. What do you think?

Do you have any favorite Gilmore Girl moments?
