one. Santa Success
The sisters’ first visit to Santa together went so well. The picture truly captures Annabelle’s enthusiasm! She seemed to remember him (he’s the same one we’ve seen for the last three years) and told him she wants dress-up clothes. We’ve had to convince her Santa doesn’t deliver swing sets in the winter. Ailey just sat in the crook of his arm contently. We went to dinner afterwards and even though I spent the entire meal with my hand in Ailey’s car seat so she could play with my fingers, I couldn’t have imagined a better family night out.

I can’t believe Annabelle is turning THREE in less than a week. Every time I turn around she seems a little bit older. Above showcases her current love of fashion. Quite often she disappears upstairs to change her clothes and comes down in lovely ensembles. I admit, I dressed her in that scarf and polka dot pants, but on her own, she does pretty well.

Chunkamonk is just too grown up sitting in the high chair now. … Okay well she isn’t sitting up on her own exactly and I only stick her in there for a couple of minutes when I need to get something done in the kitchen. But still – seeing this little chubby cheeked cherub staring at me from across the room is definitely one of my favorites this week.

I’m hoping Santa brings me a new tube of my favorite mascara – PÜR COSMETICS Fully Charged Magnetic Mascara.
five. pregaversary
This week marks one year since we found out we were going to have another baby. The positive pregnancy test was the best Christmas gift I could have asked for after a difficult year. Life has changed in so many ways since Ailey Leighton was born in August and I’m so thankful for her.
