If you have a special girl in your life who just happens to be a Mom, here are some great last minute gift ideas. Perhaps not every present is ideal for every Mother, but I surveyed some friends and know they would like these. As a Momma myself, I would be greatly obliged for anything below.
white, red, or bubbles.
Just sayin’… alcohol (if you drink) can take the edge off of a six diaper explosion kind of day. I prefer something bubbly or red if you’re wondering. Check to see if they sell package store gift certificates around you (which I think our local one does).
hand/feet treatments (plus babysitting).
A mani/pedi is an easy gift pretty much anyone would love. However, if you give a Momma a gift certificate to a nail salon AND offer to babysit, she will love you forever.
a massage.
It’s always nice if you offer your own massage services (I’m talking to the Dads), but there’s just something about a professional massage that every Mom needs. I know I have quite the catch in my back these days from trying to carry a 4-month-old and a three-year-old at the same time.
sweets.
Buy her some fancy candies – something she can’t grab in the checkout aisle at the grocery store.
comfy cozy clothes.
All Moms need a comfy cozy outfit that she can wear in public. Whether it’s a sweater or yoga pants, treat your Mom friend something warm for the winter.
miscellaneous gift cards.
Home Goods, Target, Starbucks, Whole Foods, these are a few of my favorite things. With a gift card, you are putting the power into Mom’s hands and letting her choose what she wants. Find out her most loved restaurants or shops, then surprise her with a trip there!
