Hello from the Hamptons!

We are spending the weekend with my sister’s in-law’s in Montauk/Amagansett. I’ve never been out to the Hamptons before, so I’m thrilled to be spending a couple days here. We have a house on the bayside and family staying at a campground on the ocean side (we are covering quite a bit of ground).

Here’s a few of my favorites this week:

I grabbed this bikini last time J.Crew Factory had an extra 20% off! The bottoms run small, so go up a size … unless you like to show a little cheek.

The Boat Ride to LI

We enjoyed our first ferry ride (not for me, the girls!). Check out my niece reaching for a fry!

I rode a ferry from Norway to Switzerland a few years back and ended up seasick. I couldn’t even enjoy the champagne on board! This time I felt fine and sipped wine while answering Annabelle’s 1000 questions about our trip. The girls loved walking around up top and looking for boats!

New Foyer Inspiration

We have decided to upgrade the tile area in our foyer… and now I’m quickly looking for ideas. This is an upgrade that has to be completed before we move in at the beginning of July. This is our current foyer:

We want to replace the tile area with either a brick tile or a herringbone gray tile. What do you think?

Father’s Day – minus Dad

I feel bad that my Dad isn’t here with us at the beach, but know he is enjoying the quiet time at home! I can’t imagine how he must feel in the silence for once (the girls are pretty loud). We will be back Sunday night to spend time with him <3
