Every Fourth of July, families celebrate our country’s independence together. We’ve been to the beach and watched fireworks, but this Fourth of July family celebration is extra special. Wondering why this year is different than the rest? Read on…
Since we had our daughters, we’ve spent Fourth of July a few different ways. We’ve watched fireworks on the beach in Florida, attended a backyard bbq, and ran through the backyard with sparklers. Either way we celebrate, we are together honoring our country’s Independence Day. This year will be most unique since we are officially moving into our new house in Connecticut! There will be many boxes to unpack, but we are excited to make the house our home.

Boston and Washington, D.C. have incredible Fourth of July celebrations – take a day trip with your family! If you live in a different part of the U.S., here are the best Fourth of July celebrations in our country.
Annabelle and Ailey will always remember the Fourth of July of 2018 as the year we spent unpacking toys that have been in storage for a year and organizing their new bedrooms. There will be fireworks to watch at dusk, as well as s’mores to roast after dinner, but there won’t be a trip to the beach or boat ride on the lake.
Ailey and Annabelle’s smocked outfits are from The Bella Bean, an adorable children’s boutique. They have a great collection of Red, White, and Blue clothing for your little ones, as well as a few pieces for Mom to match. I love high quality smocked clothing that the girls can wear all summer long and pass down to their cousin as they grow out of them. Ailey’s bubble has a cute bow on the back (lovely detail!) and Annabelle’s bishop smock is just the right length for playing. If you’re looking for smocked clothing (with the option to monogram), check out The Bella Bean!
I received these items in exchange for my honest review. All opinion are my own.
