I always dreamed of having my own little family – Brandon, me, and some rascals running around our ankles. Sometimes I have to stop and pinch myself to make sure that this is all real. Pregnancy is a beautiful gift that I feel lucky to experience. The idea that I am capable of growing a human inside of me is mind blowing. It is an honor and a privilege that I am currently carrying another one of our creations.
I come from a tribe of 5 made up of me, my Mom, Dad, sister, and brother. Each of my parents’ children created their own tribe within their tribe. With each addition, our tribe grows. Sometimes when my family gets together with my Mom’s sisters and their families, I look around in amazement at how we’ve expanded over the years. I know with passing time, we only get larger and more full of life. Considering my marriage to Brandon has tied me to another tribe, our children are so lucky to be a part of a beautiful group of people.
