With summertime’s arrival, my family is excited for backyard bbqs, hide-n-go seek at sunset, and roasting marshmallows by the fire. What are other ways to protect yourself from mosquito bites?
Even though our yard is mosquito-free, we are still protecting ourselves from mosquito bites in other outdoor situations. A mosquito’s prime activity time is from dusk until dawn, so we use mosquito repellent. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends the use of EPA-registered mosquito repellents containing DEET or picaridin.
