Today I’m sharing my fall must haves for this season in a fall capsule wardrobe. These pieces can be mixed and matched to create outfits for every occasion during fall.

My capsule wardrobe is comprised of pieces I purchased at the end of summer or own from past seasons. I love the rich tones of hunter and cranberry, pops of mustard, and neutrals. Chunky sweaters, mock turtlenecks and corduroy are fall must haves.

During the fall I enjoy wearing pieces I can layer and interchange with one another. The sweater blazer, sweater cardigan, and Dudley Stephens fleece are perfect pieces to wear over a henley, tunic or bodysuit. I chose boyfriend jeans, corduroy pants/skirt, plus every day ponte pants for bottoms. A driving moccasin is my daily go-to shoe, but I wear riding boots or heeled mules for special occasions. Other must haves for fall: rain jacket, wool hat, and a floral dress.
Check out how I wear a Floral Dress in the Fall here.
I used to fear outfit repetition, so much I actually recorded my outfit daily in my planner until I graduated college. As I become older and wiser, I have learned it’s impossibly expensive to wear something different everyday.
A fall capsule wardrobe is not something I ever anticipated I would be creating for this blog, but it was highly requested. I hope you enjoy my picks!
