I am so excited to announce we finally chose a way to decorate the wall behind the sofa! A few weeks ago I shared the inspiration behind a project I’ve wanted to tackle since we moved in two years ago. Fast forward to last week and the wall is no longer bare.

My husband and I chose idea number three from this post . It was easy choosing which enlarged prints to hang above the couch. After all, we just had a special photo session with Rebecca Love Photography during our trip to Nantucket. Rebecca takes amazing family photos on the beach (see our anniversary photo session here).
We ordered three 24 x 18 large format prints from Artifact Uprising. They aren’t cheap, but the quality is SO worth the price. Artifact Uprising offers canvas prints, as well as framed prints, too. Keep an eye out for sales – they currently have 15% off prints and photo holders.
I spent awhile waiting for poster size frames to go on sale. The quality of the frame is not as important to me as the quality of the print. One day I noticed these 18 x 24 frames were Buy One Get One 50% off! I ordered three for the price of one.
How to Hang Enlarged Prints on Your Wall

Hanging photos is one of my least favorite home decorating activities. I have a terrible eye for straight lines (even if I am using a level and tape measure). Some time ago I saw a home decor blogger sharing the way she plots out where to hang photos on her walls using painters tape. Brandon and I successfully used this trick to hang three enlarged prints perfectly above the couch.

We couldn’t be more happy with the new addition to our family room. The enlarged prints make the space feel complete (as does our new coffee table!).
Thank you to Artifact Uprising for gifting our family these three incredible prints. Use code HOUSTON15 for 15% off your order until September 25.
