Are you looking for ways to cure your Bridgerton hangover? It’s a rather horrible feeling when you realize there isn’t a season 2 as the credits roll on episode 8 of Bridgerton. I know this pain, deep in my heart, all too well since I binge watched Bridgerton the day after Christmas. In case you’re just discovering the wonderful world of Bridgerton, here is how to cure a Bridgerton hangover.

Note: If you don’t know what Bridgerton is, cancel all of your plans for the next 8 hours and go watch it on Netflix right now. PIN THIS FOR LATER!
1. Embrace the lifestyle of Regency era London’s Ton
Who says you have to be wealthy and living in the 1800s to channel your inner high society British self? I found this article describing characteristics of the Upper Class (U) in London – apparently “drinking at lunch” and “saying NO” are acceptable U rules. SO EASY!
Non-U rules include: dietary requirements, most white wines, and saying, ‘I’m all right thanks’ when offered a drink.

You could also download some fancy trumpet music to Alexa and have it play every time you enter a room so you feel like you’re being announced.
2. Follow Bridgerton on Instagram

The official Bridgerton account is updated at least twice a day with hilarious cast interviews and exclusive clips. I believe we will find out exactly when they begin filming season 2 through this account – so I’ve turned on all notifications. It’s also fun to follow the cast on their personal accounts – or check out these behind the scene photos.
3. Watch Outlander…or one of these shows.
Romance, steamy love scenes, gossip and scandal – I promise the following shows have it all. Outlander, Gossip Girl, Dickinson, and Younger (especially if you loved Daphne). I also found this article revealing 13 Shows Like ‘Bridgerton’ if you’re into time period series.
4. Start a daily Gossip Newsletter about your family/friends.
Gossip doesn’t have to be true, so take what you know and make it juicy. Deliver the newsletter via email or snail mail.

How could you not be obsessed with the fashion in Bridgerton? This article has everything you need to be like Daphne, but here are some other dresses for high society events (in your kitchen).
If you’re not set on a dress – what about this Daphne inspired sweater?

6. Serve biscuits and tea a few times a day using a real tea set.
It has to be a real tea set.

Another fun thought… Just rewatch it all and host a virtual Bridgerton watch party with your friends. Shondaland has the best tips and a recipe for biscuits!
7. Learn to dance like the elite.

I may or may not be scouring the internet for an online dance class for me and my husband. Did you know most of the Bridgerton dance scenes have a deeper meaning than what’s on the surface. Read this article and then watch it again.
Don’t forget to check out the soundtrack – it’s LOVELY.
8. Read the “Bridgerton” Book Series by Julia Quinn
“The Duke & I” is currently en route to my home, but after its read I’ll be referencing this post again. Personally, I’d rather watch Bridgerton unfold before my eyes on the television than read what is to happen in the other books. That’s not to say I won’t be reading the book series once it’s over!
