one. the cutest spring shoe.
If you follow me on Instagram Stories then you know I was having some trouble finding spring/summer shoes for Annabelle. Thank you mrs_skeels for suggesting Salt Water Sandals! We received Annabelle’s first pair in the mail yesterday and not only do they fit like a dream, but they look adorable and feel sturdy. I have a feeling we will be ordering a pair in pink… and maybe white.

three. first finger foods.
I am happy to say that Ailey has officially tried her first finger food – PUFFS! She had a little bit of trouble figuring out how to get keep the puff in her mouth, but eventually got the hang of it. I was so excited when Annabelle started eating them because they are an easy snack to toss in your bag. Plus, eating puffs keeps babies occupied for awhile = I can do things in the kitchen.
four. spring wardrobe.
Does anyone else have 100 items in online shopping carts that they can never commit to buying? I really need to hit up some shops this weekend for a new spring wardrobe because most of what I own is a couple years old AND looking its age. I’m all about the florals and pastels right now – is that trending? I honestly don’t know since the only clothing I see is from Target once a week. Everything in their store seems to be a little bit boho a little bit early 90s. For the record, I do not like the early 90s stuff at all.
five. another real life moment. ![]()
I feel like this picture sums up my week… my Xray came back normal for my shin, but I’m still waiting on bloodwork. The doctor wants me to take some anti-inflammatory medicine for the pain that might make my stomach issues worse so… yah. This weekend could be a lot of fun. Both girls are taking turns acting like little nuts (is it a full moon?) and even though Ailey slept a little better for two nights, last night she reminded us how she really feels about sweet slumber.
