1. What toys has Annabelle outgrown lately?
It is funny how Annabelle goes through stages where she suddenly has no interest in a toy that she was obsessed with just the day before. Right now, Annabelle doesn’t give two hoots about making food in her kitchen. But give her a week and she will be back to cooking up a storm.
2. Has Annabelle recently overcome any challenges?
Annabelle was doing SO well at school with her potty training, but a month ago she caught the flu and it set her back quite a bit. We’ve been working on going to the potty at night before bed and encouraging her to tell us when she needs to go during the day on weekends. The last week she has been a potty training rockstar!
3. Does Annabelle prefer cold foods or hot foods?
It’s funny… she actually likes most foods cold – especially the ones that are supposed to be hot!
4. What is the first thing Annabelle does when she wakes up in the morning?
Asks to watch Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Or tells me to turn off her light. Or requests to go in Mommy’s bed.
5. What’s Annabelle’s favorite spot in the home?
Standing on her pink stool watching me cook. In the kitchen window watching the neighbor’s dogs. In Mommy’s bed watching Daniel Tiger.
6. What makes Annabelle smile?
SO many things – her Daddy’s games, funny jokes, Muffin, baby/puppy videos. She has an awesome sense of humor and already understands her parents’ habit of sarcasm.
7. Does Annabelle like playing in the water?
Sometimes we can’t get her out of the tub because she loves the water so much and other times she screams the second her toes hit the water. Whoever said that a toddler would be more decisive is a liar.
8. What kind of career would be a natural fit for Annabelle?
Something where she is the boss and can tell a team of employees what to do.
